Vitamin C

Vitamin-C with Polyphenols

Vitamin C is the cofactor that lets your body build collagen, run frontline immune cells, and recycle oxidative damage. It's ascorbic acid, whether it came from a kiwi or a lab.

Anyone charging you triple for "food-based" C while warning you off "synthetic ascorbic acid" is either misinformed or counting on you not to check. Vitamin E

Vitamin E is the chain-breaking antioxidant that sits inside your cell membranes and stops your fats from going rancid. It's a family of eight, not one molecule -- and the form is the entire point.

This is where cheap products fail on purpose. Most vitamin E on the shelf is alpha-tocopherol alone -- one instrument in an eight-piece band. But vitamin E isn't just alpha-tocopherol,[2] and gamma-tocopherol is an underestimated form that carries a lot of the action.[3] Here's the trap: high-dose alpha-tocopherol actively crowds gamma down -- a dose-dependent suppression[4] first shown in humans decades ago.[5] Head-to-head, mixed and gamma-rich tocopherols behave differently than alpha alone.[1] So a single-form E at a bargain price isn't a deal. Potassium
