What the trials measured

In a 12-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of 46 adults, run and funded by the company that makes it, a daily multivitamin, mineral and antioxidant pack raised skin antioxidant-status scores against placebo.3 An eight-week clinical study at Yonsei University raised the Prysm score and skin-brightness measures.4
In healthy adults who ate few fruits and vegetables, eight weeks of a multivitamin, mineral and phytonutrient pack lowered reactive oxygen species in a placebo-controlled trial.5 A meta-analysis of placebo-controlled trials found favorable changes in oxidative-stress markers, including oxidized LDL.6
