How it works

  • Adapt — orally administered proteolytic enzymes are studied for modulating the normal inflammatory-resolution response after physical exertion or tissue stress

  • Maintain — proposed to support normal muscle recovery and comfort during the repair process following exercise

  • Exchange — to survive stomach acid and reach the bloodstream in active form, systemic proteolytic enzyme products (bromelain, trypsin, chymotrypsin) are typically enteric-coated; an uncoated product taken with food will mostly act as a digestive aid in the gut instead, a meaningfully different application of the same enzymes

  • Sense — once absorbed intact, these enzymes are proposed to interact with circulating alpha-2-macroglobulin and modulate cytokine signaling, a mechanism distinct from their direct protein-digesting action in the gut

Form matters

The same nutrient can be made in very different forms — and a study done on one form does not automatically apply to another. Methylcobalamin is not cyanocobalamin; magnesium glycinate is not magnesium oxide; a whole-food extract is not the synthetic isolate that was studied. Two things decide whether what is in the bottle behaves like the research: the exact form, and independent lab verification (a Certificate of Analysis) that the form and dose on the label are truly what is inside. Without a COA, you are trusting a label, not the science.
