How it works

  • Sense — beta-1,3/1,6-glucans bind to complement receptor 3 (CR3) and Dectin-1 on immune cells, activating innate immune signaling

  • Adapt — modulate immune-cell populations (T-lymphocyte subsets, NK cells) and cytokine balance in response to physiological stress

  • Maintain — support immune surveillance and homeostasis through interaction with gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT)

  • Exchange — solubility and molecular weight vary widely by mushroom source and extraction method, and these physical properties measurably affect how strongly a given beta-glucan preparation binds Dectin-1/CR3 receptors -- not all 'mushroom beta-glucan' products are biologically equivalent even at the same labeled dose

Form matters

The same nutrient can be made in very different forms — and a study done on one form does not automatically apply to another. Methylcobalamin is not cyanocobalamin; magnesium glycinate is not magnesium oxide; a whole-food extract is not the synthetic isolate that was studied. Two things decide whether what is in the bottle behaves like the research: the exact form, and independent lab verification (a Certificate of Analysis) that the form and dose on the label are truly what is inside. Without a COA, you are trusting a label, not the science.
