How it works

  • Transform — the most abundant free amino acid in blood and a key fuel source for rapidly dividing cells, including enterocytes and immune cells

  • Build — a nitrogen donor for nucleotide and amino sugar synthesis needed by fast-turnover tissues

  • Maintain — serves as the primary fuel for intestinal lining cells and is studied for its association with gut barrier integrity and immune cell function during physiologic stress

  • Exchange — during illness, injury, or intense physical stress, muscle tissue releases stored glutamine into circulation to fuel the gut and immune system, which is why glutamine is classified as 'conditionally essential' -- normally made in adequate amounts, but demand can exceed the body's own production capacity under significant physiologic stress

Form matters

The same nutrient can be made in very different forms — and a study done on one form does not automatically apply to another. Methylcobalamin is not cyanocobalamin; magnesium glycinate is not magnesium oxide; a whole-food extract is not the synthetic isolate that was studied. Two things decide whether what is in the bottle behaves like the research: the exact form, and independent lab verification (a Certificate of Analysis) that the form and dose on the label are truly what is inside. Without a COA, you are trusting a label, not the science.
